ACCOMMODATION IN HIGH TATRAS
Privat Iva is located in the heart of High Tatras directly at the foot of Slavkovský Peak at an altitude of 995 m asl. The accommodation is surrounded by picturesque Tatra nature, in the protection zone of biggest nature reservation in Slovakia – High Tatras National Park.
QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD
Privat Iva offers accommodation in a detached house in a quiet area with a total capacity of 12 beds + extra beds. There are four comfortable and sunny double rooms with extra bed options, equipped with private bathroom (shower, toilet), refridgerator, TV-SAT, a view of nature and one apartment with large sun terrace, bedroom, living room, kitchenette, bathroom (shower and toilet), TV-SAT available for guests.
Free wireless connectivity to the Internet throughout the building. For your children we have prepared free crib, high chair, sand pit and swing in summer. In addition, there is at your disposal a spacious living room with fireplace, satellite TV, seating for 12 people, kitchenette equipped with fridge freezer, microwave, electric cooker, electric kettle.

Privat Iva provides many options for autumn walks, bike trails, winter skiing in the nearby ski resorts Starý Smokovec – Jakubkova lúka, Hrebienok, Tatranská Lomnica – Skalnaté Pleso and Štrbske Pleso – Solisko. A tram stop, bus and free ski bus stop is just 5 minutes walk from the house.
After hard days you can relax in thermal pools of Aquacity Poprad, Tatralandia or Vrbov.
PERFECT LOCATION
Thanks to the excellent location the accommodation Privat Iva is a good starting point for trips to the Malá and Veľká studená valley, the Slavkovský peak, Hrebienok, Studený potok waterfalls, Skalnaté pleso, Sliezsky dom, Zamkovského chata, Téryho chata, Zbojnícka chata and other attractions and cultural sights. For our guests we provide assistance in planning tours and trips to the surroundings, information on hiking trails, their difficulty, operational times, news, brokerage of a mountain guide.
HOW TO GET TO PRIAT IVA?
By car
In Poprad turn from the highway D1 to the direction of the High Tatras, in Stary Smokovec, turn left onto road no. 537 – direction Strbske Pleso. At the end of the village Nový Smokovec on the right hand corner turn left. You can plan your journey by car: here.
By train
From the train station Poprad-Tatry by tram directly to the Sibír tram stop (the second stop after Starý Smokovec). To find the connection, rail server can be used here.
By plane
Poprad-Tatry Airport is about 13 km far from the house. Timetables can be viewed at the airport here. We can provide transportation to and from the airport upon request.
